Art is free and so should it be! I am a self taught Gold Coast/Australia based artist, dedicated to contribute visual to the abstract expressionistic art world. A combination of desire, passion and love for sometimes wild combinations of colours on canvass or board has resulted in my production of mostly loud work, relating to land, life and beyond. I do innovate and I do create, often work with a sequence of surprise. Being flexible and not boxed into a certain style while remaining faithful to a subject is resulting in experimental work and to challenge colour, canvass and creativity.
However, my main objective is reflection but in more than one way – I like to integrate the past, the here and now or the unknown as in future or space, sometimes via integration of objects of different types, mirrors or by simply applying interesting texture to the work. By using this technique my paintings become alive, allowing visual change due to their own ability to reflect. I hope my work will speak for itself, connect, enjoy and contemplate on my artistic expression.
