This portfolio of 12 pictures deals with the Valtournenche Area, the lake of Maen and the Lago Blu placed in Breuil - Cervinia. In the Lago Blu the majestic Cervino reflects itself with its beautiful chain and water changes its color from green, emerald, blue. In summer and in autumn colors are fantastic. The lake of Maen is inside Bioley Alta it’s a beautiful place where you can walk, take a picnic, relax and capture a lot of photos in different sides. Maen is called locally Lo Coeur de Votornen that means the Heart of Valtournenche but here there is also my heart and in these places it will stay forever.

Stefania Grasso 39 years old, Italian photographer started to photograph in 1990. In 2006 among 1172 photographers she won the 4th price in a nature competition in Valle d’Aosta. Her favourite themes are travel photography, nature, landscapes and also indoor photography (museums). She won some prices in contests related to nature and several covers for rewievs, Markos but also fotografare.com, N-photography and she sometimes collaborate with CNNiReport. many of her works have been published for touristic pages VolgoItalia, The Hub Art, Venice Art Guide. The Valtournenche area has been promoted not only in Aosta Valley but also in big cities such as Rome and New York.


BIO IT
Biologa, specialista in Microbiologia (inutilmente), attualmente insegnante precarissima con contratti saltuari a tempo determinato, amante della natura, degli animali, alla continua e inarrestabile ricerca del Romanticismo, in fuga dalle tormentose banalità quotidiane, dalla monotonia, dalla noia, dalla solitudine. Dalla compatta Fuji Finepix A900 che le ha regalato i primi successi è passata alla reflex Nikon D3000 con 18-55;55-200 e 70-300. Chiaramente con una reflex con grand’angolo è tutto molto più facile, per favore non ditemi che sono migliorata perché le compatte sono ottime apparecchiature e fanno la loro figura. Si è trattato solamente di questione di dispositivo ma lavorando gratis in precedenza era difficile l’acquisto di una reflex. Ora dispone anche della Nikon D5100 con la quale ha subito vinto a ottobre 2012 a pochi giorni dall'acquisto la copertina del mese MArkos con il Lago Blu di Cervinia in versione autunnale. I luoghi prediletti per gli scatti fotografici sono Cervinia e Venezia. Amante dell’arte barocca e contemporanea. Amante della raffinatezza, da qui il Carnevale di Venezia. Trova ispirazione dalla musica classica. Appassionata di sport soprattutto di calcio. Quando fotografa si immerge in un silenzio profondo nel candore delle nevi, nel silenzio estivo della montagna, contemplando i tramonti in riva al lago o al mare, o allo splendore delle opere d’arte. Per questo motivo evita di fotografare le persone. Crea album-libri a tema. Odia le auto e non desidera bambini, cortesemente non entrare in argomento. Grazie e buona navigazione.
