kAzIm is a French neo-symbolist and outsider artist. Combined in a multi-layered digital art mixing photography and scan of raw material his creations would pretend themselves to be the visionary remembrance of a fool scarecrow in a rough shadowed land. Often in a dark tinted ambiance his work, as a reflection of his spiritual journey, invites the viewer to a travel and an encounter at the doors of the spirit world. Inspired by different mythologies and shamanic-sorcery traditions, kAzIm tries to manifest the very moments when, in a deep state of connection with himself, the artist approaches the archetypes lying in the the sacred and poetic visions. As a non-dualist play between symbols and signs, his creations reveal in a personal alchemy of colors and senses a singular expression where past present and future come across to bring a new light into ancient and modern mysteries. Passionate by new forms of spirituality and their artistic interpretation kAzIm tries to find new ways to express his art such as the use of technologies. This challenge has found its most accomplished expression through the website dark-shaman, an alternative project manifesting 3 years of exploration of the deep sides of the mind. At the crossroad between theories of chaos and psychedelic culture he presents his work in France in exhibitions and performances involving fractals, video montage and poetry to lead the visitor into new kinds of awakening experience.
