As an environmental artist my mission is to use artistry and my love for nature to help lead our youth to find creative solutions for our planet. In my opinion using the arts meshed with awareness can bridge the gap between the needs of our planet, and the habits of mankind. I believe it starts with our youth because they are the ones that will inherit the planet in the future. We need to start spreading more environmental awareness to them and help them grow to become more compassionate for life. In doing this we can plant the seeds and began restoring nature for the future. Through the years I found myself using disposables, litter and found objects to texture paintings a technique I call eves passage, doing this opened me up as a young adult to pay attention to the amounts of waste we produce as a society I began researching into landfills educating myself about the depletion of our nature resources and I realized that children need to be led to understand the many issues they will be facing as adults if nothing is done to make the changes now. By encouraging them to use their imagination in visual art we can build stronger stewardship in them and lead them to find value and maintain our planet. In the last 2 years I've began showing my art in exhibitions, working with community centers and schools in environmental awareness art projects, murals and youth exhibits. Its my mission as a humanitarian to help children. I've been reaching out to people for the last 3 years and I'm still reaching to make the connection with anyone who wants join me, I₼m only an artist but together with teachers, scientist, students, environmentalist, conservationist or just nature lovers in general we can make this happen for all kids. We can make art matter! 1 love Tree
