Aria studied printing, book making and typography on a state scholarship under the guidance of her teacher Costa Gramrnatopoulos at the Athens School of Fine Arts (printmaking laboratory). She has participated in many important exhibitions in Greece and abroad since 1962. She has worked as a teacher of printmaking and graphic arts in private and public schools and technical schools as well. She has also been engaged in the illustration of many books both of state and private publications. She has made introductions in seminars on topics pertaining the teaching of art. She has a certificate for her participation and teaching in the seminar on Fine Arts, on the Greek and European Education, the professional preparation for the Young Unemployed Emigrants and the Home-Comers. The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the General Secretary of the Greeks abroad organized the seminar, with the participation of the European Monetary Fund.

Aria has participated in radio informative broadcasts and has published articles in newspapers, journals and magazines on art and the technique of engraving. Among the articles is the one on "Condensed History of Engraving", which was published in the first issue of the magazine "Plastic Art" in 1982 and its cover was an illustrated copy of one of her works. In this article she analyzed the techniques used for engraving on wood, stone, copper and lithography as well. Other articles were also based on the art of engraving at schools, and many literature books have housed her works on their covers. She was invited by the Greek Television networks to give information on the uses of techniques of plastic arts and was asked to show and explain the technique of engraving on wood and linoleum to children. She has also participated in a debate with the public on the theme: “The role of prototypes and multiple reproductions”. Her works have been awarded many times and she has received many distinctions and medals. Among one of them was the official distinction in 1985 in Italy from the Prefecture of Umbria where the ceremony was covered by the RAI (Italian Television). There was also a long memorable article in the newspaper in Romania written by the distinguished Mr. 0. Petra dedicated on her work in 2000. She is also a member in the Honorary Appointment Research Board of Advisors in the American International Institute, and as well a member of the Alumni Association of the Athens’ School of Fine Arts (University) and a founding member of "The Greek Engravers’ Union" and member of the Chamber of Arts of Greece. She also a member of the Kyoto International Woodprint Association. Many of her works are found in the National Art Gallery of Greece, in the Municipality’s Art Gallery of Athens, in many National and Local Art Galleries and Museums all over the world, and in banks as well. Many Greek and foreign collectors own some of her works.
