I am usually working on more than one series of paintings. The art
shown here is from the “Electronica” series, a historical
documentation of the contemporary use of electronic devices. This is
a collaborative series of paintings, involving several other
artists, photographers and models. The primary painting
collaboration is with Anastasia Nelson. (The painting is simply
passed back and forth, there is no visible “hand” of either artist.)
Currently, I continue to work on Plein Air paintings, done in a
“reductionist” style – simplified and over saturated with colour.
This style has been consistent over my fifty year career as a
working artist. I am also working on collaborative series entitled
“Barnyard Animals” with artist Anastasia Nelson (University of
California, Davis).
